£1bn worth of SW building contracts

Devon County Council has launched a tender process to renew the south west’s biggest building framework, estimated to include £1bn worth of projects.

Up to a dozen companies will be placed on the new framework, which is supported by 28 public bodies in the region, including police and fire authorities, universities and local councils.

The existing 10 building framework members include Bam, Builders consortium south west, EW Beard, Interserve, ISG Pearce, Kier, Mansell, Midas, Morgan Sindall and Wates.
